There is plenty of evidence against the existence of a supreme being. There is no supportive evidence. Right?

Couldn't one say the same of pixies, or wind spirits? Is that a good reason to believe in those things, as well?

If I was given overwhelming evidence that the cause of my beliefs were in my brain, I would assume that God made my brain that way.

Why, in your words, 'assume' God? What makes that a reliable or justifiable move?

What if we're all just a part of a matrix & we were programmed to think that way even though that kind of God doesn't actually exist?

Beliefs should be based on evidence, not on what we can’t disprove. Should we believe everything we can't disprove?

There are an infinite number of things I can't prove, like the nonexistence of invisible Martians. Should I then assume they do exist?
