Are you always so quick to believe in empty promises?

I prefer to believe in the promises of scientific discovery & naturalism.

I understand that you believe. What I'd like to understand is whether you have good reasons for believing.

Don't other religions make wonderful promises as well? Should one choose what to believe based on unverifiable promises of reward?

What would you say to a member of another religion who made the same claim about their own holy book?

You're just stuck in its narrative. You're incapable of thinking beyond your dogma. Don't you see?

What would you say to someone making the same claim about, say, astrology?

The same can be said for science books.
