My professor is a man of great lack of faith. He & other atheists inspire me.

What is it about faith that you find admirable?

According to your religion, you should take no idols before God. Aren't you putting this guy on a pedestal?

Why is he so special?

Are they inspirational because their beliefs are true, or because they believe even though they can't actually be sure?

Don't lots of very smart people believe in things you find untenable?

Some very smart people believe in other Gods as well & they are just as wrong.

Even smarter people do not believe in your God.

And lots of smart people don't, so what's one to make of this?

Are you trying to convince me that you might be smart?
