The Catholic church doesn't have any credibility based on their long history of abusive behavior.

When scientists confirm a claim, they publish their evidence & methodology. Would you say the Church's findings are equally well justified?

Doesn't the Church stand to benefit from the existence of confirmed miracles? Why should one trust its claims?

Isn't canonization just an assertion made by the Church? Why would that eliminate the need for supportive evidence?
